Colin Small retires after thirty years of coaching Judo

A farewell to a dedicated and inspiring coach

Staff News

After 30 years of fantastic teaching at Moulsford, Colin Small has retired from coaching Judo at Moulsford. Colin has just recently achieved his 6th Dan in Judo, an accolade that is a testament to his many decades of successful teaching. There have been so many wonderful achievements in Judo over the time that Colin has led the sport, and last year saw a particular high as Moulsford were named 2022 winners of the team competition at the IAPS Judo Competition, at which they also took home two gold, four silver and four bronze national medals. Colin will be sorely missed at Moulsford, but we are delighted that his son Martin will be taking over from him. We wish Colin the very best in his retirement and thank him for all his support of so many children over the decades.

Please feel free to leave any comments or memories from your time enjoying Judo in the space below. Thanks!
