The Oxford Playhouse Tent is going on tour again and they’re bringing their musical animals with them!

This year’s fun and interactive touring show, Animal Rocks, is aimed at 4 to 11 year olds. It is a story following the migration of an animal to a new island, where sadly he is not accepted because he looks different and has different traditions. However, the new animal’s love of music intrigues the native animals, and they begin to learn more about one another and bond through their love of this new music style. The show explores the important themes of tackling prejudice and discrimination, as well as understanding community and identity. It will ask the young audiences ‘How will you make everyone feel welcome?’

Moulsford Prep School is delighted to be hosting the Oxford Playhouse Tent on Saturday 11th June. Please come and join us for one of the sessions taking place that day.

The event is free to attend, but families do need to book places through Ticket Source (www.ticketsource.co.uk/moulsford). All children need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. Additional adults and older/younger siblings are welcome to attend but also need to book places via the Ticket Source website. However, please note that there is unlikely to be capacity inside the tent for those outside the 4 to 11 age range.

Entry will only be given to those submitting printed or digital (mobile phone) tickets.

A coffee van as well as an ice cream van will be on site for guests to purchase refreshments. Moulsford Prep School will be offering squash/drinks and light snacks for the children in return for donations to the school’s chosen charities, Mary’s Meals and Soundabout.
If you have any queries regarding the event, please get in touch with Katie Hannaford on 01491 651438 or khannaford@moulsford.com.
