Parents v Staff Cricket

The 2024 match sees a tight scoreline
4 Jul 2024
School News

It was a wonderful cricketing spectacle as the Parents' team took on the staff in their annual fixture. The standard of Cricket was arguably as high as ever, as was the score line, with the staff amassing 206 from their 20 overs, only for the parents to come within a whisker of their first victory in recent memory, falling just short on 203. The match saw everything, from hard hitting, to plenty of boundaries, some skilful bowling and high-quality catching. As ever, the crowd were in full voice; there was a wonderful festival atmosphere, with Moulsford's Got Talent in the backdrop. Many thanks to some of the Year 8 boys for their assistance in umpiring and to James Oseman for coordinating and captaining the parent team.
