Abingdon Rowing Success

2022 Old Moles on the water

Alumni stories

Old Mole Monty Derbyshire (OM 2022) achieved recent success at the National Schools Rowing Regatta at Dorney Lake on the 25th of May. Rowing in the J15 A VIII for Abingdon School, Monty's crew won bronze, narrowly missing out on the silver to Hampton School.

Having had so little time on the water over the winter, it's great that they can call themselves the 3rd best J15 Boys crew in the country!

There was more to celebrate for other Old Moles too, with Hector Brocklebank and Josh Costello gaining bronze in their J15 VIII B final!

Well done to all of the boys.

We know that there are lots of Old Moles currently enjoying rowing success and we would love you to send us your stories.
