Congratulations to Old Mole Charlie Hunt, who is now at Abingdon School and last year played for Abingdon's U15 cricketers,  as they became the National T20 champions this September. The competition involved over 900 schools across the country, and Charlie's team beat King Edward VI School on the last day of the Summer Term, followed by a win over Millfield School in the quarter-final stages, before an incredible finals day, where they defeated The Forest School, resulting in a match against Cheadle Hulme School in the final at Arundel Castle. Restricting the opponents to 126 in 20 overs, Abingdon won the contest for the loss of just two wickets to win the competition – an incredible achievement for all of the players, well done!
