Emerson Proctor (class of 2020) rounded off a great ski season in spring with news of his selection to the GB Alpine Ski Team for the third year running. Emerson who attends the Apex2100 International Ski Academy in France had another successful season in Europe with points and world ranking improvements in all four disciplines: Slalom, Ginat Slalom, Super G and Downhill. He is currently top ranked in GB for his age in Downhill and Super G, second in Giant Slalom and third in Slalom.

In February competing in Bormio, Italy he became English Alpine Super G and Giant Slalom national junior champion and at the British Championships in Santa Caterina, Italy at the end of the season he was runner up in U21 Downhill and Super G and was awarded third place junior overall for the championships.

This summer he has trained in France, Norway, Switzerland and an indoor camp in Belgium. He headed to Finland in the autumn for pre-winter preparation. Next season sees a focus on World Junior Championships where he has already made the qualification criteria in three disciplines and is hoping for a selection for the speed disciplines of Super G and Downhill where he has significantly improved his world ranking.
