Old Mole Charlie Henderson recently completed the Gateshead half marathon to raise money in memory of his friend and Old Mole Edward Bush, to support Veteran Coastal Retreats.

George Wilder, whose father was Moulsford’s Bursar and who worked at the school as a Junior Teaching Assistant, also completed the London Marathon for the same charity.

This charity is being supported by the trust that was established by the Bush family, following the death of Edward at the age of 16. Veteran Coastal Retreats seeks to provide respite for veterans through short breaks on the Cornish coast. Edward was passionate about joining the army, and both men hope that through Veteran Coastal Retreats, they will be able to help create a legacy that honours this.
