We are delighted to hear that Old Mole Sam Winters (Class of 2020) has signed his first professional contract with Bath Rugby.
Sam is currently completing his A-Levels at Harrow School, where he is studying Geography, Business and Photography, before joining up with the club permanently next summer. Alongside rugby, Sam intends to continue his education at the University of Bath, which plays a key role in the Bath Rugby Academy pathway.
Sam was a member of the all-conquering Harrow School side that won both the Daily Mail Schools Trophy and Continental Tyres National Schools Cup last season and toured South Africa in the summer with England U18s, making three appearances, and was named captain of Harrow School 1st XV for the 2024/25 season.
Johann van Graan Bath’s Head of Rugby said, “I was very impressed by the hunger and willingness to become part of Bath Rugby when I met Sam. We are all looking forward to see him develop in the Blue, Black and White.”
Sam Winters said: "As a boyhood fan, signing for Bath is a dream come true. I'm eager to embrace the opportunities ahead and learn from the many world-class players and coaches here."
